DESTINY - it's coming to a SHA Library near you!

Destiny Quest® is a K-12 student-friendly searching interface from Follett Software Company, which will soon replace our old Circulation and Cataloging programs.  Both the LS and HS Libraries will be implementing this new software at the end of May, and your friendly librarians will be working to transfer library and patron records to the new system, so that all will be ready to greet our students in the fall.
Here is more information  from the Follett Destiny site:

Visually appealing, customizable themes make searching the library a comfortable and familiar experience for today’s plugged-in generation.Students become more active learners using Destiny Quest’s engaging interface, which invites them to explore and dig deeper through “You May Also Like” automatic suggestions. They can refine their search results by author, subject, series and more, and find the best titles for their interests or reading levels and save their favorites for easy retrieval with the easy drag and drop functionality of ‘My List’.
