Classroom 2.0

The weekend workshop on using tech tools such as blogs, wikis, and social networking in education was informative and fun! That's a lot to say for a late Friday and all-day Saturday tech fest! The good news is that the high points and much of the information shared on these two days can be found on the Classroom2.0 web site.. worth checking out! Presenter Steve Hagadorn is energetic, enthusiastic and very smart... check out HIS blog at: Steve Hagadorn.com
He introduces himself thus:
I am the director of the K12 Open Technologies Initiative at the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN), the founder of Classroom 2.0, and the Social Learning Consultant at Ellluminate. I blog, speak, and consult on educational technology, and am particularly passionate about Web 2.0, social networking, Free and Open Source Software, computer reuse, and computing for low-income populations. I run the Open Source Pavilion and speaker series for the NECC and CUE shows, am the organizer of EduBloggerCon, and hold a series of free workshops around the country (Classroom 2.0 LIVE) to help educators learn about the educational uses of the participative aspect of the Web. I have done consulting work for PBS, Intel, Ning, and others on educational technology and social networking. I am also the Emerging Technologies Chair for NECC, a regular columnist at School Library Journal, and a blogger at www.SteveHargadon.com, the Infinite Thinking Machine and TechLearning. My podcast series on educational technologies can be found at www.EdTechLive.com and at Classroom 2.0.
Pretty cool, huh?
