Time flies when you're having fun

Mea culpa and wow - it's been way too long since I've appeared here - shall we see if 2012-2013 will be THE year of the blog post??? There's so much happening in the school world, the library world and yes, the "real" world - not the least of which are the upcoming elections, which promise to change the course of history - if we vote for the "right" (or the "wrong") person... Stay informed - look, listen and yes - READ - about the candidates and issues. Your voice could be the one that makes the difference. Last year, we were all about DESTINY, our "new" on-line catalog. Let me just report that it has been a rousing success! Materials are easier to find, information is at your fingertips, and happily, circulation statistics have increased dramatically. Now that we've shaken out the (very)few bugs, we look forward to a new year of increasing success for the students and faculty. We are also eagerly anticipating the opening of our new STUDENT CENTER, and bid a fond welcome to our new faculty and students. I don't know, but I've got a good feeling about this year - come on down and introduce yourself, and keep checking back for new posts as the year progresses - who knows? It could happen!

DESTINY is here!

We have successfully installed our new Library software - Destiny from Follett..  While it's not completely configured yet, you can take a look at it here.  You can log on to either the Lower School or the Upper School (7-12) library as a guest... Come the fall, you will have your own log-in and password account, which will allow you to take full advantage of all the fun features!  In the meantime, visit the site and explore!  We welcome your comments and questions - and hope you will be as pleased with our new addition as Ms. Taylor and I are!
